Brandon and Breanna’s August wedding day at Koury Farms Weddings & Events in Auburn, GA was nothing short of magical. From the moment I stepped foot on the property to the moment I left, I was just in awe of every sweet little detail that went into creating this perfect day. Read on to see how it all came together!
The Details
I started the day by capturing Bre’s details, and they were absolutely STUNNING. You know it’s going to be a good day for details when the bride hands you multiple bags and 2 shoe boxes!! My favorite detail from their day was their custom Mr. & Mrs. converse! As a converse lover myself, I couldn’t get enough of these. Everything from her shoes, to the rings, all the way down to her dress was just PERFECTION.
First Look
While Bre opted to do a first touch instead of a first look with Brandon, she decided to do one with her dad. Ladies, if you have a dad or father figure in your life that you’re close to, do the first look. You will not regret it! The look on her dad’s face says it all. They had her mom, bridal party, and myself and the video team teary eyed!
Bridal Party
After the first look, we jumped right into bridal party photos. Their bridal party was SO much fun and it was obvious that every single person included had a special role in their lives. They were supportive, calming, and were the life of the party!
First Touch
If you decide not to do a first look with your husband/wife, I highly recommend doing a first touch. It such a beautiful, intimate moment between the two of you before the craziness of the ceremony and reception start. You get to hold your partner’s hand, talk to them, maybe even read some private vows or words to each other, and soak in a quiet moment together while building the anticipation of seeing each other for the first time at the ceremony. Brandon and Bre shared some private vows at the front of the venue right before the ceremony.
Ceremony
The ceremony started off with the sweetest “first look” between Brandon and Bre. We had Brandon turn around to face the officiant until Breanna got to the beginning of the aisle. Once she was in place and her dress was “fluffed”, Brandon’s best man tapped him on the shoulder to indicate he could turn around and his reaction was absolutely priceless. The ceremony was beautiful and heartfelt, especially because the officiant has known Brandon since he was very young! They assembled a unity cross for their unity ceremony, which I don’t see that often. This was so special to me because my husband and I assembled one at our wedding almost 5 years ago!
Mr. & Mrs. Odum
After the ceremony, we started couple photos at the front of the venue with the couple’s sweet pup! Then we ventured into the vineyard and took the most stunning couple portraits.
Reception
The reception kicked off with some fun introductions and moved into the sweetest first dances between Brandon and Bre, Bre and her father, and Brandon and his mother. We then ate some delicious dinner courtesy of Sweet Magnolia. Afterward, I pulled Brandon and Bre to the front of the venue for some sunset photos. Someone from their church generously let them borrow a brand new white Corvette for their getaway car, and we took full advantage of it! I mean seriously, don’t they look like they could model for Corvette?? Ugh! These were probably my favorite photos of the entire day.
Send Off
After the traditional bouquet and garter toss, Brandon and Bre took full advantage of the quiet moment and had a private last dance while their guests lined up for their exit. Watching them wrapped in each other’s arms, smiling, laughing, kissing, and just truly enjoying themselves was such a beautiful moment. After their dance wrapped up, we went outside and had a fun sparkler exit!
It was truly an honor to be the one to capture Brandon and Breanna’s love at Koury Farms Weddings & Events. I wish them nothing but a lifetime of love and happiness!
