Last month, I had the absolute privilege of helping plan and host a styled shoot at the beautiful Koury Farms in Auburn, Georgia. The owner, Glynis, came to me in February with a vision of bright, summer colors, and I took it and ran with it.
I worked alongside Ashlie Muller with Ashlie Muller Celebrations and she is a ROCKSTAR. Not only is she one of the sweetest people, she is so organized and helpful in every aspect. She took on this project while pregnant and seriously knocked it out of the park! She spent night after night on the phone with me going over every little detail, and it was amazing to see it all come together the day of! If you need a planner for your wedding day or special occasion, look no further!
For the florals, I had the honor of working with Sheng Ly with Sheng Ly Events. She was amazing from day one. She took time out of her day and away from her babies to sit down with Glynis and I and have multiple brainstorming sessions! All I had to do was send her a few “inspiration” photos from Pinterest and she exceeded all of my expectations! The bouquet was to DIE for and she did a FANTASTIC job with the standing arrangements. If I was getting married again, she would be doing my florals, hands down.
The cake was made by the incredibly sweet and talented Sonya with Oh Sweet! Bakery. Not only have Sonya and I collaborated on other styled shoots, I have captured several weddings where she made the cake and she knocks it out of the park EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. She is INCREDIBLE, y’all. I can’t say enough good things about her (or anything she makes!!) She also took my inspiration photos for this shoot and completely nailed it, even down the the dried fruit!
The dress was provided by Sakred Bridal in Watkinsville, Georgia. I have collaborated with them for a different styled shoot and each time, they let us borrow the most INCREDIBLE dresses! This one was no exception. The plunging neckline, the lace, the puff sleeves, the tulle train, it was just to DIE for! Head over there for all your dress and bridal accessory needs!!
The stationary was provided by Paper Daisies Stationary. They not only created the most beautiful invitation suite, but they even included a hand drawn photo of the farm on the detail card! It was BEAUTIFUL and I am still swooning over them!
And last, but certainly not least, hair and makeup for our beautiful models was provided by Pretty by Kittyy. Not only was she one of the sweetest humans, she made everyone look BEAUTIFUL. She took my vision and brought it to life and each model just looked absolutely incredible. It’s hard to find someone who can work magic on a bunch of different hair styles, lengths, and textures, but she did just that and absolutely killed it. I know who to call if I ever need my hair and makeup done!
While I don’t have any photos of their jam session, I have to give a special shoutout to DJ Troy and his team! They are always amazing to work with and they kept the ambiance of the shoot hyped up and we had so much fun with them.
I really cannot stress how thankful I am for all of these incredible vendors that made this shoot possible and these pictures barely scratch the surface of how talented they really are!
