I am so excited about the outpour of love and support from my friendors (vendor friends!) for this series. Not only are they supporting me, but I love showing off some of the best vendors in the industry! Today, I’m highlighting a relatively new vendor category in the wedding industry – photo booths – with Happy Clicks Photo Booth! I met Paola and her husband, Manuel, at a marketing conference earlier this year and they are seriously a joy! Tell me a little about yourself and your business!
We are a happily married couple that came to America 9 years ago in search of a better future. We are passionate, hard working, and now business owners. Happy Clicks is a photo booth rental service for weddings, parties, corporate events and more. We are distinguished by the fun we bring to every event, our amazing photo quality, and our commitment to exceptional customer service. We create memorable experiences for our clients and their guests with our high quality photos and instant prints.
Do you work with a team? If so, tell me a little about who makes the magic happen!
Yes, we are a team. We both contribute with the overall magic. I am more of the “face” of the company – responding to our clients calls, email, messages and I make all the custom templates for every single event. Manuel is our content manager, handles all the set up and break down, and he is our principal booth attendant.
How did you come up with your name?
We wanted something that reflected fun, happiness and related to photography of course. We sat down, and after a lot of brainstorming, the name just came up and we loved that it reflected what we had in mind.
What sets you apart from other photo booth rentals?
A lot of things! To start, our high-quality photo. Our Photo Booth has a DSLR camera integrated and that makes the photos look amazing. Our exceptional customer service – we are always there making sure our clients and their guests are having fun and enjoying the party. We also have a lot of different prop options and we go above and beyond by accommodating specific requests from our clients that would match the theme of the event!
Do you offer photo booth rentals for events outside of weddings?
Yes, definitely! We are available for all kinds of events.
What is your favorite part of running a business?
Definitely having the freedom of building and creating everything how we like it with no limits. And the return that we get when we capture unforgettable moments from our clients’ special day. Seeing how happy they get when they see their pictures, it really is the best feeling ever.
What are some trends you’re seeing right now in weddings that you really like?
We really enjoy those funny bridesmaid and groomsmen’s reception entrance. They always have a really good energy and good music!
What words of wisdom do you have for 2025 and 2026 brides?
Enjoy every single moment from planning to the day of. This goes by in the blink of an eye and from being a bride myself, all I can tell them is to enjoy and to not let anything ruin this moment of your life.
What advice do you have for brides looking for a photo booth company?
When looking for a Photo Booth business, check social media and Google reviews to make sure they offer good quality, variety of props, professionalism and passion to bring the fun to your event!
What are some common questions your couples ask you?
They always ask if we have a booth attendant that stays the entire time, recommendations on when is the best time to start the booth and when to end it, and they always like to see other designs we have made for previous events. They also commonly ask what kind of props we offer.
What does a lead up to a wedding day look like at your business?
We rest well the night before and the morning of we prepare everything from props, to paper and tint for our printer. We load the car and then we get ready and make sure we look very professional for each event. When we arrive at the venue, we just have fun setting up our booth. Sometimes even recording videos for reels!
What’s your favorite part of a wedding day?
The bride and groom dance always melts our hearts!
What is the biggest challenge you face as a photo booth company?
More than a Photo Booth, I would say as a business owner in general, is being patient when starting a new business and managing time with your business and your full time job. But it’s all worth it!
What is the most unique service/product that you offer?
The most unique would be ourselves. – the “booth attendants”. We really are there with the clients. We laugh with them, we guide them through the entire process, we suggest funny poses, and we suggest props! We are really involved with all the people in every single event we go to. And that is really what’s unique about us. Some other Photo Booth companies will be there just to click start and print your photo if they offer a printer. We are more than just the camera and the printer, we are a full experience!
What is the most interesting place/venue/event you’ve rented to?
We were rented for an engagement party and it was hosted at the bride-to-be parent’s basement. Well the interesting part is that they had us setting up the booth in the cinema room. That was pretty funny but it ended up being a perfect spot at the end!
Is there anything that couples often overlook when planning their wedding?
Yes, I feel like for a lot of couples, entertainment is the last thing they think about or wait to see if they have more in their budget, but it really is one of the most important things. People will remember how fun it was, not other details about maybe decoration or even the food. The memories will always go to the photos, the music, and the entertainment.
What do you think are some of the biggest misconceptions that people have about photo booths?
I can think of 2 big ones that might even go hand in hand: poor photo quality and they sometimes think photo booths are outdated. My answer to that is simple. There’s new technology in every aspect of life these days and photo booths are a part of that. Our both has a professional camera integrated and a professional flash that you will get a really good picture out of, even if we are in dark spaces. But also, aren’t we all bringing the past back all the time? Trends from the 90’s are back again. Photo booths are too. There’s something so special about having a photo printed instantly and keeping that as a souvenir. For me, photos have more value than videos sometimes and I love when elderly people come up to me thanking us for what we offer because they simply don’t know how to use a cellphone and having the photo printed makes them really happy. Or it personally makes me happy when I see people with the photo prints hung on their fridge or rooms. Anything that captures special moments will never be outdated!
Why should I hire a photo booth company for my wedding?
Because you want unique memories from your wedding. More than beautiful poses, you want funny ones. Because you need an ice breaker activity for your guests while you and your significant other are away taking beautiful photos. Because you want to give out souvenirs and our prints will do that. And last, but not least, because you want to have entertainment at your wedding!
What do you like to do for fun outside of your business?
We like to travel! Any time we have a chance, we like to go to new places.
