This session was one of my most anticipated of the year… because it’s for my baby brother!! Michael proposed to Payton back in May of this year and I was so excited to be able to do some engagement photos as a gift for them! I let them pick the location if they let me help decide what they would wear, and I have to say, I think our combo was GORGEOUS. They wanted to do their engagement photos at Piedmont Park to get a little bit of a different vibe from their wedding venue. They will be getting married in the North Georgia mountains next May, so the cityscape located at Piedmont Park was the perfect contrast! We were going back and forth with the gross Georgia weather, but we had just enough time between rain showers to get these dreamy images! I am obsessed with how they turned out. I cannot wait until Payton joins our family next year!

I couldn’t share these without sharing the story behind Payton’s ring. The main diamond in her ring has been in my family for 4 generations! It was passed from my great aunt to my grandfather, then to my dad who gave it to my mom. It has been on my mom’s hand for over 30 years, and now it will get to live on in the Henry name with Payton!

Congratulations to Payton and Michael!!
