After weeks of rescheduling due to the infamous Georgia weather, I finally got these two in front of my camera! Not only were they so kind and flexible, they were SO much fun to photograph! Suzanne has got to be one of the most amazing and organized future brides I’ve worked with- even getting my opinion on outfits after reading my engagement session style guide (highly recommend this by the way- I love helping you decide!!)
We started the session at Chateau Elan Winery where we got some incredible shots in the vineyard. It was PACKED but you would never be able to tell! Sometimes shooting in crowded areas can be intimidating (especially if you have never had formal photos done before) but these two rolled with the punches and their love was infectious!
Afterward, we packed our cars and drove 10 minutes down the road to a parking garage next to the Braselton Courthouse. Suzanne and Charles were originally going to have a car they were going to use a prop (hence the parking garage idea!), but it unfortunately fell through last minute. We still decided to use the location and WOW, they are seriously some of my favorite images to date. To say we had a lot of fun with these is the understatement of the year! Suzanne had asked prior to the session if we could do a champagne pop, and I IMMEDIATELY got excited! I have become obsessed with champagne and confetti pops during shoots, especially ones that celebrate a special occasion, and the images turned out incredible!!
I am so honored that Suzanne and Charles chose me to capture their love and I absolutely cannot wait until their wedding in September 2023 (there may or may not be a bounce house involved…. stay tuned!)
