Preston and Grace were another one of my sweet couples that were amazing and so flexible with the crazy Georgia weather always raining us out! I actually met this sweet couple a few years ago when I photographed Preston’s sister’s wedding (shoutout to Tara and Joe!!) and I was incredibly honored and humbled when they went slightly outside of their budget just to have ME photograph their wedding!! Seriously, I may have cried a little bit. They are one of the SWEETEST couples and I am so thankful for them!
We chose Garrard Landing Park in Roswell for our location, not only because it’s beautiful (fun fact: my husband and I actually did our engagement photos here too- 5 years ago!) but it also happened to be super close to them and they were right in the middle of moving- and I mean RIGHT in the middle, they were packing and moving that MORNING!! They were troopers, so say the least!
We got the beautiful light and had fun dodging homecoming groups… there were seriously teenagers in sparkly dresses and tuxes EVERYWHERE. But we made it and we had SO much fun with these! We talked wedding plans and had lots of laughs at some of the prompts I had them do! I am so excited to capture their big day in June 2023!!
